Carolyn Wynn is a dedicated public servant, strategic leader, and community advocate committed to driving economic growth, policy innovation, and community engagement in Palmetto, Georgia. 

With a proven track record in municipal operations, research, and strategic planning, she has the skill set to collaboratively play a role in strengthening the city's financial sustainability and fostering resident involvement as part of the council.

During her tenure with the City of Palmetto, Wynn spearheaded initiatives that increased permitting revenue by 90% and secured over $3 million in permit and development fees. 

She also implemented a comprehensive strategy to help the city’s seniors reduce property tax costs and remain in their homes. By providing direct support—educating seniors, verifying and assisting with homestead filings, and guiding them through tax assessment appeals—alongside well-developed educational initiatives, these combined efforts led to seniors saving well over $800,000 in property taxes. Her approach was holistic, addressing their needs through both practical assistance and informational resources. 

She is dedicated to strengthening the community through knowledge, access, and opportunity.

As the descendant of Ed Wynn, she carries a personal mission to honor her family’s legacy while championing progress and community. The daughter of Billy and Lisa Wynn, and granddaughter of Carolyn Wynn, she credits her family and her “village” for shaping her dedication to service. 

A Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern alum, Wynn applies innovative problem-solving and strategic thinking to public service, leveraging her expertise in marketing, physics, and management to drive meaningful change.
